The SP-L Chain Scraper Spreader is an integrated automated snow-removal device that combines de-icing agent loading, conveying, and spreading in one unit. It is widely used in snow-clearing operations on expressways, urban roads, airports, and scenic area roads, enabling quick and efficient removal of snow and ice from road surfaces. It helps ensure safe and smooth traffic conditions, accelerates snow melting, and reduces labor intensity. The unit is self-contained with a complete set of power, hydraulic, control, and conveying systems, requiring only driving power from the chassis vehicle to operate. It features fast spreading speed, high efficiency, precise dosage control, large hopper capacity, and extended operational range.


Key Performance Features & Advantages


Hopper: Constructed with advanced welding and anti-corrosion coating processes. The hopper walls are reinforced with ribs to enhance structural rigidity.


Electronic Control System: The system features two operating modes — simulated vehicle speed and actual vehicle speed — allowing the driver to select the appropriate mode based on real-time operating conditions.


Overload Protection: Effectively protects the spreader from damage when the load becomes excessive.


Chain Conveyor System: The chain assembly is manufactured from various high-strength carbon steel materials, with the chain ends guided by toothed sprockets. The two sprockets are mounted on a shaft driven by a high-power motor reducer, delivering exceptionally high torque while maintaining precise synchronization during material feeding.


Crushing Device: A set of counter-rotating crushing rollers is installed at the discharge end of the chain feeding system to break up caked or oversized salt lumps. The roller crushing device is designed for lifetime service and requires no maintenance.


Smart Control: The spreading dosage can be set on the LCD screen and remains constant regardless of vehicle speed.


Pre-wetting System: Intelligently controls the uniform pre-wetting of de-icing agent at the discharge outlet, enhancing the adhesion between the de-icing agent and the road surface. This reduces de-icing agent consumption by 30%, improves snow-removal efficiency, and saves costs.


Asymmetric Spreading: The discharge chute can be mechanically adjusted to the left or right, allowing the operator to select the desired spreading area before operation. This prevents material from being spread onto green belts, thereby reducing damage to vegetation.


Roll-off System: An optional roll-off system is available. The driver can quickly mount or dismount the spreader onto the dump truck without the need for a crane. The roll-off mounting components also serve as the spreader support frame. Once the spreader is dismounted, the chassis vehicle can be used for other purposes, improving overall vehicle utilization.
