The SP-LM Chain Scraper Spreader is an integrated automated snow-removal device that combines de-icing agent loading, conveying, and spreading in one unit. It is well-suited for long-distance spreading operations and meets the requirements of highways and expressways, delivering high efficiency and fast operating speeds.
Hopper: Constructed with advanced welding and anti-corrosion coating processes. The upper part of the hopper is equipped with a screening mesh (mesh cover) and a rainproof tarpaulin, which effectively prevent debris and oversized damp or caked materials from entering the hopper and block water ingress, thereby protecting the conveying and spreading system of the spreader and ensuring smooth material discharge.
Spreading Width and Dosage Adjustment: The spreading width of the spreader can be freely adjusted from 0.8 m to 12 m, making it suitable for urban roads of all grades. Both the spreader and the chain conveyor can be controlled at variable speeds, with the spreading dosage adjustable between 50–300 g/m².
Overload Protection: Effectively protects the spreader from damage when the load becomes excessive.
Conveying Method: The spreader is equipped with a chain scraper-type conveyor, capable of spreading various types of de-icing agents. It minimizes heat generation during material handling, preserving the original condition of the material and ensuring that the spreading dosage, spreading width, and other operational parameters fully meet the values set by the operator. During operation, the chain scrapers also serve a cutting function, breaking down caked or oversized material into smaller pieces suitable for spreading.
Anti-clogging Material Feeding: An anti-clogging baffle (inverted V-device) is installed above the material conveyor (chain scraper) of the spreader. It prevents material from shifting backward or overflowing during the conveying process, while also reducing the pressure exerted by de-icing agents or anti-skid materials on the conveyor, thereby extending the service life of the equipment.
Asymmetric Spreading: Manual baffles allow the operator to adjust the one-sided spreading width on the left or right side, as well as the rearward spreading distance, according to operational needs (e.g., near green belts). This prevents material from being spread onto green belts, thereby reducing damage to vegetation.
